I was fortunate enough to attend a lot of Maynard's concerts and spend time with him during the whole M.F. Horn era. His dedication to the music and getting it into High Schools was a huge priority with him. He was one of the nicest people to be around. The Maynard I knew would be very happy to see this blog.
